EXIMBANK HEAD OFFICE HANOI | Creating A Modern Operational Workspace

Established in 1989, Eximbank is one of the first joint-stock commercial banks in Vietnam, boasting a network of over 215 branches and transaction offices nationwide, while establishing cooperative partnerships with approximately 600 international financial institutions. The official grand opening of Eximbank’s new head office in Hanoi in March 2026 marked a major milestone in the bank’s strategy to enhance its operational and governance capabilities in a new era of development.

Located in a Grade A office building in the central area of the capital, the new headquarters has received comprehensive investment to meet the operational demands of a large-scale banking system, while creating a modern working environment for the workforce and executive management.

The project belongs to the premium financial and banking office segment, with stringent requirements for spatial organization, finishing quality, and practical operational capacity.

Spatial Organization Tailored for Modern Operations

In this project, DBPlus undertook the office interior design and construction for the 5th and 6th floors of Eximbank’s new head office. The project was developed under the “Diagram” concept, aiming to build a modern, flexible, and connected working environment that reflects Eximbank’s spirit of innovation and long-term development orientation.

The office layout is organized to enhance connectivity and coordination among departments. The spatial ecosystem—including open offices, phone booths, meeting rooms, lounges, collaboration areas, pantries, and operational support zones—is seamlessly distributed across each floor to meet the working needs of a large-scale workforce.

The open office system is structured to increase connectivity and operational efficiency between departments.

Functional zones are allocated according to the specific operational characteristics of each department, including risk management, credit appraisal, information technology, marketing, and executive divisions. This floor plan layout enhances internal coordination efficiency while ensuring flexibility throughout operations.
