KBANK – the 3rd largest bank in Thailand and also the 2nd largest charter capital international bank in Vietnam, re-cooperates with DBPLUS in the project of opening a new office for the strategy to expand business in Vietnam.
KASIKORNBANK Public Company Limited established in 1945, it is a Thai bank with nearly 80 years of experience in banking, securities and other business activities. By 2021, the State Bank of Vietnam allowed KASIKORNBANK Public Bank Limited (KBANK) to establish a branch in Ho Chi Minh City, ready to meet all financial needs of customers with solutions applying modern and advanced digital technology.
KBANK aims to serve small and medium businesses related to KBANK’s Thai customers, then expands to retail financial services to serve customer segments that have little or no access to financial services, mainly customers who do not have bank accounts or do not have access to popular financial services, which aiming to contribute to the balanced growth in field of financial service.
Since March 2024, KBANK has pioneered the application of NFC (Near Field Communication) technology to its digital services. This technology not only optimizes user experience but also demonstrates KBANK’s capacity and efforts.
Having collaborated with DBPLUS in interior design for the office at KBANK on the 26th floor of LIM TOWER 3, the working space was inspired by nature, with 80% wooden furniture, greenery, and optimal use of environmentally friendly materials, bringing a convenient and comfortable working environment. This time, in an effort to upgrade the representative office in Ho Chi Minh City with full services to serve a diverse range of customers, KBANK continues to choose DBPLUS for interior design and build this upgrade project. The office renovation project with a total area of about 1000m2 is located on the 22nd floor of LIM TOWER 3, belonging to the series of Grade-A office buildings on the bustling Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street of District 1.

Based on KBANK’s brand identity, DBPLUS has created a design that maintains customer expectations and positioning values. In particular, the elements (radar, direction, indication) and lighting systems are specially designed to symbolize KBANK’s advancement goals.

The entire area of the 22nd floor is designed to connect with the flow of work on the 26th floor and is divided into utilities, meeting and collaboration areas, working space, reception and re-use areas. Most of the interiors are designed based on a human-centric approach, flexibly combining working and relaxing spaces, not only meeting the needs of employees but also encouraging communication and collaboration between them. In addition, smart furniture, adjustable facilities and functional areas are optimally arranged according to the activity-based working principle, ensuring convenience and efficiency for users. In addition, the uniquely arranged technology integration, involving connected facilities and intelligence devices, brings productivity and convenience to each individual working in the office. Natural materials and greenery combined with maximizing natural light, make the working space comfortable and ensure a healthy environment for employees, which strongly follows the biophilic design.
